Aerial Video and Stills

Overview shot of Governors Island Ferry

This past week I had a reunion with my buddy Jeff Codman who owns RI Aerials.  If you have read this blog for years you will know I spent a lot of time flying with Jeff, filming and taking stills.  So it was nice to be back in the back seat with his Aerial Exposures Gyro grabbing video clips, and then out the left door shooting stills of the same boat.

R44 with life jackets on the skids for all the flying over water we do.

FS7 MK2 on Gyro with seat out.

One of our clients is Fleming + Company a marketing company who handles the media for Blount Boats.  This time we were filming the new Governors Island Ferry our sixth job for Blount Boats.  We had a nice afternoon break in weather and it was a rare warm day for May this year.

Here is two short rough cut clip right from the camera, only downsized for Vimeo. Below the clips is a photo, to see more photos view Recent Photos.

Fun to be back with such a talented pilot who I enjoy being around. It was like putting on a nice pair of shoes that just fit perfect; we team up well and have fun.

Where is IN and OUT of the Boat Shop? To answer all the questions I have been receiving, yes the next episode is coming soon.  Kincora is in the hands of the new owner, and I am into my next projects.  All fun.

Here is a taste of where I have been spending some of my time.  So much fun to be sailing at 25-30 kts board speed weekly.

See you soon, Paul
