Episode 47, Foil Board Repair

As we sit in the middle of a three day Nor’Easter here in Rhode Island, my foiling time is cut back, so lets talk board repair.

First my Slingshot foil gear is great. Well built, not far off plug an play. Letting me progress with my foil windsurfing learning curve. Of course it is not just Slingshot, there are the Sailworks Flyer sails, with their Flightstick mast that give me the control and proper shape. Also I want to give a huge thank you to Andy at Wind-NC. Andy is the dealer were I purchased the board, foils, and other gear. He is fast to respond, has great input, and is fun. A highly recommended website and dealer.

One of the footstrap inserts stripped out, the first time I tried it. Andy had a great suggestion on how to fix it. This video I will go step by step on how I did that repair. Hope it helps and keep getting out in our great Fall season, or where ever you are sailing.
