Getting through Rhode Island Winter 2024/25

I started going south to sail and race in 1976. There were only a few years I missed due to too much work in the shop, or being on the West Coast racing in San Fran.
This winter I took off going south due to my second TKR. Since I had this done in 2019, I know the game. This will only make the sailing I love better. My plan has been to be wing foiling, SUPing this week. I have been doing dry land work with the wing the last month to start getting the feel back. And of course intense life long PT.

To get me through from October to now I have been visiting the coffee shop wingers while taking some stills and video. It took me into December to get through the POMO (Pain of Missing Out) before I pulled the camera out. TKR was late October, I would have been out two months ago but there was a complication.

As I finish this post on 11 April, I am very excited to say I went wingfoiling yesterday for the first time in six months. I had not been cleared to go till 10 April. It is so nice to be back foiling with Carol and my local friends. Time to get the skills back and have fun progressing.
Hope you get out on the water with the spring weather starting.
Enjoy the Winter Foiling video, with Carol, Rob, and Dan. Now that I am back there will be new videos coming.
Have Fun Every Day, live your passion, and be kind to all.
See you soon, Paul
