Shout out to my great sponsors

My In and Out of the Boat Shop show could not happen without my great sponsors. All of them have amazing gear that I believe in, and want to spread the word.
Please visit my sponsors sites, and let them know you came from Paul Cronin Studios or In and Out of the Boat Shop Show.

Ronstan Hardware came standard on the Archambault 31 so staying with it was a no brainer. Also I love the engineering and wide selection they have for all boat sizes. I have been using Ronstan hardware back to my International 14 racing days in the 1990’s. Great people, great hardware.
Ronstan small, light, super strong Core Blocks used at the mast base. With the Ronstan Shock used for in-haulers and Code 0 twings. Great applications for both.
The Ronstan Ballslides have been used on my last two boats, and will be put on Kincora this winter. Excellent engineering using the existing mast track with an easy fit. Without the Ballslides I would not be able to reef so quickly with low loads. Reefing is critical to any boat shorthanded of fully crewed. This hardware is a must to retrofit on any aluminum mast.
Trogear Bow Sprits, what a great way to add a sprit to a boat. Installation is easy as long as you have some attention to detail. Rigging options are endless, and the fact that it moves out of the way for docking, mooring, or anchoring is ingenious.
Rigging the sprit was an ongoing process for me and hopefully you find it helpful or come up with your own method.
Pettit Black Widow bottom paint has taken the industry by storm. It has loads of graphite in the paint and better antifouling then the competitions hard paint. The choice for racing sailors who want a polished finish.
Prepping the bottom is a critical step in having the finished product you want. You can not cut corners and need to have the attention to detail to do a proper bottom job.
When you do a job the first time you make mistakes. Let my mistakes and how I corrected them help you do it right the first time.
Want a shine on your final finish, well here is the steps you need to take.
Zhik sailing gear is a innovative company that is breaking new ground, and leading the way with sailing gear. I have switched most of my gear to Zhik over the last five years, and am very happy with the results. They are still a small company not purchased by a bigger company cutting cost. They do it right.
UBI Furler 125 has never failed me, it is light, powerful, and easy to setup. Engineering is the key to sailing hardware and this one has it dialed.
This video also goes over the Doyle Code 0 just prior to the cable less sails. Still an amazing sail and a Code 0 is one sail everyone must have.
Thanks for getting this far and hopefully these companies and my videos of their products will help you find the right gear for your sailing needs.
As always if you have any questions or comments please send me a message, and I will get right back to you. Look for new sponsors and some great updates to the site and show coming this fall.
Have Fun Every Day, and see you soon! Paul
