Welcome to Fall in New England, it has been a very warm October.  Well that is an understatement, the warmest on record, funny how that keeps happening with some of the warmest months on record every year. Hard to believe the sailing season is coming to a close for the winter in Rhode Island.  We are still on the water all winter with SUP, and windsurfing till my hands can’t take it.  I do love the change of seasons, a New Englander all the way.   Throughout the season I took clips of tacking, knowing I would do a tacking video.  I am very happy with the way I set up the cockpit, and hopefully this video shows how efficient the tacking system is singlehanded. What an active Fall this year.  I hope all are well and recovering from the devastation the hurricanes have done to the Gulf, Florida, and the islands.  Wishing a speedy recovery for all. With summer fading and fall in the air, it is a great time to get out on the water.  Summer crowds are gone and water is still warm. We are just back from a four day trek that took us to Noank, CT to visit friends.  Kincora is a fantastic boat for the two of us. I have been asked about my sail inventory which is still a work in progress.  I believe in big cross overs, and carrying as few sails as possible.  With the option of masthead and fractional kites that opens up a lot of choices.  Having…
