New page on Paul Cronin Studios site
I have added a new page to my site called, “About“. There a short introduction to the services I offer and a growing picture gallery of shots of me shooting on the job. Move to the right side of the page and click on the right arrow to see the gallery or go to the top middle to see the thumbnails. Special thanks to all the producers, clients, and friends who have taken photos of me while I am filming. I hope you enjoy seeing all the different locations and wide range of gear over the years. Will keep adding…

Summer Fun
Happy August Vacations, summer fun in the sun with family and friends, and of course sailing, and now SUP. Work has been great with video boat reviews taking us to fantastic locations. In June it was Wisconsin to review Cruisers Sport Series boats with a factory tour, and a sneak peak video review of their exciting new model coming out at the fall boat shows. Wisconsin is a beautiful place and Green Bay is stunning. I will post not only video boat reviews but also exciting How To videos and Boat Show shorts with great interviews. Yes I am bias…

Memorial Day Weekend
Hard to believe it is already Memorial Day Weekend. I love this time of year. This weekend I will be sailing a VX One Design with Carol Cronin and Dan Neri in Newport, RI. The VX regatta is part of the Atlantic Cup Series for Class 40s. Above is a picture racing a Class 40 from San Francisco to Hawaii last summer on the Antrim Class 40 California Condo. Fun ride with a great team. Being a passionate shorthanded sailor I am so happy to see the Class 40 have a third year for this event. Go to the site,…

The site starts off with a slide show as you enter. At any time you can pick from the menu and enjoy all the of media and information on the site. So for the next week…

WhiteCap Video has a new web site on the way
Why are we smiling? Well first off we have a blast working together on the Video Boat Reivews. Lenny is a great on screen talent to film and we do laugh a lot. The happy news is WhiteCap Video is now building a new web site with Aphotofolio.com. I checked out all the options and felt Aphotofolio was the right fit for me. Since I show both high end photos and videos on the site they felt like the perfect match. So stay tuned for a new look with lots of new photographs from recent jobs and a…

New Cameras at Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show
Just back from the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show filming and shooting stills of a wide variety of boats. This show offers a range of power craft from a lithium-powered surfboard to 150’ Mega Yachts. Very exciting show for us, we were using two new cameras that produce amazing images. One of our new film cameras is the Canon C300. This camera uses a new Super 35mm chip that offers fantastic detail and 12.5 stops of latitude. We set our C300 up with a Movcam rig, Sennheisser 2000 wireless system and Canon EF-L glass. With removable lens you have endless…
