Beneteau Barracuda 9 Powerboat
In August with on screen talent extraordinaire Lenny Rudow, and producer Carol Cronin, we set off to review the Beneteau Barracuda 9 in Marion, MA. The Barracuda 9 is an exciting new boat from Beneteau Powerboats division and they came up with a beauty. The boat is loaded with features, runs fantastic with a new hull shape all for an amazing price. The video boat reviews are fast pace jobs. The amount of filming, narrative, and details we do in a day would drop most people to their knees, but we love the challenge. We have a great product that…

Living My Passions
Make-work and play the same thing. This has been a goal of mine since I started working as a kid. And when you have your own company like I do, the work is never done so I have set myself up to make work be play. This is the reason the site is called, “Were Video Meets Boats”; I am lucky to mix two of my passions as my business. Sure not every day is roses but most of them make me smile and I love what I do. Who you work with makes all the difference, so…

Kincora Sports a new twist in North 3Di mainsail design.
I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to work with Dan Neri from North Sails in the development of Kincora’s new 3Di main. After sailing last year with a paneled main from a different company I was ready to put the proper engine on Kincora. As some of the readers will remember I owned Samba, Quest 30 made famous by Phil Garland of Hall Spars. Phil raced Samba hard with great success and now she is being raced well by Tristan Mouligne out of Newport. Tristan is still winning with the same North main that Phil used 12 years…

Pacific Cup Finish
Our final night at sea was a nice reach to the finish. Lights of the island were in sight for hours, and the crew could not sleep since were all excited to cross the finish line. Marines flying over head, land growing and sun minutes from rising we crossed the finish line 4:56:26 local time. Kite down quick since there is a coral reef 1/3 of a mile after the finish. Now comes the amazing hospitality of the island. Our escort boat was waiting for our finish with flashing white lights to guide us through the reef. With our deep…

Last day on the race course
Sorry for the late post trouble connecting. Last night tonight have been wonderful. Last night was the first time we saw the moon for more the an hour. We were sailing with A5 kite and full main with the moon on the luff for hours. Great sun rise and all day has been 80-100 apparent reaching in 12-17 kts. Clear skies, warm weather, and laughs all around. What a great team. 125 miles out and making 15 kts. Sunset coming up and final night at sea looks to be moon light and same angle breeze with slight knock to the…
